Went on a little photowalk around Washington Heights, and came across this little purple rooty sucker just chillin in the shade at Fort Washington. I had my tripod with me, since I was going to do some panos of the GW bridge, and thought…”Hey, Nick. Today’s color is PURPLE. That root is PURPLE. And I put one and one together and I got two, and then afterward I felt good about myself, so I took a picture of it.

See? I can use musical references in my titles, too! Yay me!

So I’m playin with some new cheap-o $5 gels I bought at a sidewalk garage sale type thing in SoHo about a month aGoHo, and I’m minding my own business shooting with some off-camera flash, and all of a sudden I’m all like “Dude, your chair’s crazy haunted.”

Nahhhh, they just painted a green stripe on the wall, lest drivers not see the edges of the wall and thwack them with their autos.

Michael and I were walking around the city today, just before Michael bought a brand new flash. YELLOW was the goal, and as I was shooting this, a dude with a skateboard just happened to walk right through the shot! Thanks, hombre.
